Lazada Commission Fee is charged based on price of the product after deducting Seller Sponsored Promotions (Flexi Combo & Vouchers) Commission Fee will only be charged if the order status has been changed to “Delivered”

Lazada Payment Fee

Lazada Payment Fee is the handling fee that Lazada charges on every successful transaction made through all form of payments on Lazada ▫ Credit Card/Installment Plan ▫ Debit Card ▫ PayLah ▫ Singtel Dash ▪ Payment Fee is 2% (before GST) of the final payment amount, inclusive of shipping fee made by buyer, deduction of any Lazada Voucher (platform/bank) or discount mechanic (Lazada Bonus/LazCoins) ▪ All orders will continue to be charged the payment fee

Lazada Shipping Fees

The final shipping cost deducted from your payout is: (Actual Courier Cost) - (Fee Paid by Customer) - (Lazada's Subsidy). You have to nail this calculation, or you're just giving away your profit.

How will Lazada's fee adjustments affect sellers?

Recently, we have observed that Lazada Thailand will adjust its commission fees starting November 1st: the base rate will be increased, while rates for certain programs will be reduced. The base commission rate will be raised by 1.5%, a move the platform states is aimed at aligning with market standards. Meanwhile, commission rates for the Free Shipping program and the Premium Free Shipping program will be reduced by 1% to help sellers offer more competitive prices and enhance the consumer experience. Additionally, the minimum participation threshold for the Coin Discount program has been lowered by 1%, aiming to attract more merchants and support business growth.

Although an increase of 1% or 1.5% may seem insignificant, it can significantly impact your profitability, especially if your product profit margins are low. When calculating the final cost, be sure to also account for the 9% Goods and Services Tax (GST) applicable to the new rates.
