Shopee Philippines Raises Seller Program Fees 2026

 

Shopee Philippines Local Sellers recently announced the latest adjustments to the service fees for seller programs, implementing a policy to increase service fees by 1% for multiple activities, effective from January 1, 2026.

 

I. Mega Discount Voucher (MDV) Program

i. Policy Adjustment Details

Once a seller’s participation is confirmed, the seller will be charged a 4% service fee (capped at ₱200 per item per order) on the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) for all successful orders.



For Mega Discount Voucher (MDV) activities on Spike Days, the service fee rate will be adjusted from the current 4% to 5% (VAT-inclusive), while the rate for non-Spike Days remains unchanged.

ii. What is MDV?

Mega Discount Voucher (MDV) is a seller program wherein customers enjoy multiple exclusive Shopee-sponsored mega discount vouchers with varying minimum spend criteria on items of participating shops.



 

iii.The Benefits of Joining the MDV Program

1) Buyers can enjoy Shopee-sponsored discounts with varying minimum spend requirements, which helps significantly increase shop sales and order volume compared to non-MDV sellers.

2) Products in the shop will be tagged with the “Mega Discount” label, which is more visually impactful and increases purchase intent among buyers.

3) Gain more product exposure—selected MDV products will be featured on the “Free Shipping & More Deals” page.

 

II. Shopee Coins Cashback Program

i. Policy Adjustment Details

Participating shops will enjoy the following:

Shops will receive Shopee-sponsored cashback vouchers and significantly increased exposure on Shopee’s marketing channels, such as through cashback product tags.

Once a seller’s participation is confirmed, the seller will be charged a 3.36% service fee (capped at ₱100 per item per order) on the COGS for all successful orders.



Note: Starting January 1, 2026, sellers who also participate in the Mega Discount Voucher Program will receive a 1% discount on the CCB service fee.

ii.Benefits of Seller Coins

1) Effectively enhance customer interaction through seller coins.

2) Attract and reward customers to participate in store activities.

3) Using seller coins to offset order amounts can effectively increase order volume.





 

III. Live Xtra Program

i.Policy Adjustment Details

Products from Shopee stores participating in this program will receive Shopee-sponsored livestream vouchers and significantly increased exposure on Shopee’s marketing channels, such as through Live Xtra product tags.

Once a seller’s participation is confirmed, the seller will be charged a 3.36% service fee (capped at ₱100 per item per order) on the COGS for all successful livestream orders.



Note: Starting January 1, 2026, sellers who also participate in the Mega Discount Voucher Program will receive a 1% discount on the Live Xtra service fee.

ii.What is Live XTRA?

Live XTRA is a Shopee Live paid program where sellers can enjoy premium livestream benefits such as exclusive vouchers and increased visibility. A 3.36% service fee (VAT-inclusive, capped at PHP 100 per SKU) will be charged on all items checked out through Shopee Live, including livestream orders from KOLs and/or Affiliates featuring the seller's items.



iii.The Benefits of Joining Live XTRA

1) Support the release of more exclusive coupons for your live streams to attract more buyers, increase engagement, and boost sales!

2) Become a Live XTRA exclusive featured streamer, making it easier for viewers to discover and enter your live stream, and allowing you to get closer to buyers looking for deals.

3) Live XTRA will display banner ads on the Shopee homepage and the Shopee Live homepage, directing buyers to the Live XTRA promotional page.
