How to correctly activate Shopee Live, taking the Shopee app as an example
STEP 1: Go to Me Page and select Live Streaming.
STEP 2: Add a title to your livestream, a short description, and cover image. Cover images should be 500 x 500 px.
STEP 3: Add products to your stream (200 max). Select items from your shop or from your Liked list.
STEP 4: See a preview of your stream. Rearrange the products and review the details before clicking Next.
STEP 5:Tap the Go Live button to start streaming!
STEP 6: Ask your viewers to hit that 'Follow button! Your followers get a push notification once you go LIVE.

What are the violations and penalties for Shopee Live?
Shopee Live is designed to provide shoppers with a more engaging experience, allowing them to interact directly with sellers. As such, sellers who fail to meet the platform's minimum content standards may be penalized to varying degrees.
Livestream sessions may also be terminated immediately. Penalties include:
- Warnings
- Deboosted livestreams (reduced visibility on Shopee Live page, which can lead to decreased traffic and fewer views)
- Temporary bans from Shopee Live
- Permanent bans from Shopee Live
Note:
Repeated violations may result in an extended livestream ban duration or even a permanent livestream ban.
Sellers with severe listing violations may have their accounts permanently frozen.

How to appeal if there is any violation on Shopee Live?

If a violation occurs, the following prompts may appear:
Livestream hosts who have committed a Livestream violation can view their proof of violation when they receive the violation. All violation records are available under "Manage Violation" on the livestream homepage. You will also be able to see specific proof of violation tagged to each violation.
Livestream hosts can submit an appeal via the Shopee App if they believe their content has been wrongly penalised. All appeals must be submitted within the given timeframe to be assessed.
Livestream hosts can submit an appeal for each specific violation once (e.g 5 different committed violations means the Livestream host can submit 5 violation appeals). You will have to fill in an appeal which consists of a compulsory description section. Depending on the type of violation, you may also have to submit supporting documents. Then you will also be notified of the results via an inbox notification.
